Back in the saddle
I took out the road bike this morning — early start, too. I was up at 5:20 or so, but I needed about an hour to take the trash out. Once I got out on the road, I logged a pretty good ride. One of the best this year (12.5 mph average), sad to say, since I’m still recovering from this sinus infection. My best ride of the year is on my heavy touring bike, at 12.8 mph. Last year in July I was doing my morning loop at 14 mph.
